Elliott Homes built four neighborhoods in Desert Ridge, scattered throughout the masterplanned community. The first two sections are located near Cashman Park and Desert Trails Elementary School, just a short walk from each. The third has some golf course frontage, and the fourth is in the Northeast portion of Desert Ridge, East of Tatum Blvd, North of Ranger Road.
Infamous at the time of construction in the Realtor community, Elliott stingily paid no commissions to cooperating brokers. This position changed a short time later, when falling demand caused Elliott to become more aggressive in seeking customers. These neighborhoods are popular resale sections of Desert Ridge today.
